A beautiful early Victorian solid silver card case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1853 with the makers mark being that of David Pettifer - a very highly regarded card case and snuff box maker of the time. It has been superbly made being engraved with flowers and scrolls around a cartouche engraved HR or HK. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. 3.25 inches (8.1cms) tall by 2 inches (5.1cms) wide and weighs 28 grams.
