Circa 1905 Victorian William Comyns heart shaped sterling silver table mirror embossed with foliage, scrolls & cherubs playing instruments, birds interspersed. Mirrored glass bevelled in romantic heart shape with original black velvet under sterling silver design. New York estate, acquired in London, circa 1951. Stamped with William Comyns & Son Ltd. Cartouche at top stamped "FAVENTE DEO" with Elk Head & Sun and initials "VHP".

Series of hallmarks stamped on bottom recto. Minimal re-silver loss on heart shaped beveled mirror edges.
