Silver coffee pot Date : 1840 Period : Victoria Origin : Messrs Barnard of London, England Body : Ribbed baluster form with a silver scroll handle, a melon finial and very elegant spout. Hallmarked Messrs Barnard of London in 1840. Engraved B Size : 26.8cm tall and approximately 22cm in diameter from handle to spout Condition : One ding on the side as shown Restoration : None Weight : 785 grams. I have been involved in the antiques business since 1971. My career took a leap forward when I joined Bonhams in 1976.

Some five years later I became head of the Decorative Arts department.
