A rare Victorian novelty silver Vinaigrette formed as a Policeman's Bullseye Lantern, with fluted domed top and attached suspension ring, the front hinged cover mounted with a revolving ball set with white, red and green glass and opening to reveal an incurving leaf pierced silver gilt grille. Hinged base and silver gilt interior. The reverse engraved with contemporary initials. By Henry William Dee, London, 1872.
