A Victorian novelty Dressing table stand / casket. Nateralistically modelled from Green snail shell. Collet set in gilded ormolu mounts. Containing two original cut glass scent bottles with silver mounts. Raised on an oval alabaster base.

Circa 1880's Hallmarked; French small silver guarantee marks. (A boar's head) Dimensions; Height 185 mm Width 83 mm Base 92 x 67 mm Gross weight; 515 grams No damage , chip's or repairs to the silver , glass or shell. The scent bottles retain their original stoppers. One of which has a small chip. (Refer to image's) The interiors are not cloudy or bloomed.
