French Silver & Niello Enamel Whistle Pendant - weighs 5.1 grams. This whistle has an unusual design with a chequered niello star pattern. The open sides must be closed off by the fingers in order for the whistle to make sound. Circa turn of the 20th century. Marked: with French hallmarks (see photo). Measurements: 1 5/16" in length, 9/16" in width and measures 1/2 in height on the sides.
