Victorian sterling silver 3-basket centerpiece. Made by Horace Woodward & Co. Ltd in London in 1895. Shaped curvilinear base with raised and square center and tubular ends.

Large central basket has spool support with applied lions heads. Side baskets have cast merman support with scaly, split, and twisted tail.

Bowls curved with scrolled rim. Neoclassical ornament including garlands, paterae, foliage, and leaf and dart. Base supported by four leaf-mounted shells.

A fancy Regency Revival centerpiece. On velvet-lined ebonized wood base with engraved presentation. Dimensions (without wood base): H 10 5/8 x W 20 x D 9 1/8 in.
