Superb Victorian sterling silver combined novelty bookmark and magnifying glass, fully hallmarked for London 1897. This is a lovely Art Nouveau silver bookmark and magnifying glass with superb scroll ring handle with a magnifying glass to the centre above a long tongue shaped bookmark. The bookmark is 1 inches / 25 mm wide and 6-1/8 inches / 155 mm long.

The bookmark has clear hallmarks - lion passant, London mark, letter b for 1897 and maker's mark FE for Frederick Edmonds. The bookmark is in excellent condition with no dents, damage or repair. All items are well packed in brand new carton boxes and appropriate bubble wrap / tissue paper etc.
