"Victorian 18ct Gold Rhinoceros Top Seal Fob" Circa 1880 Rare. The fob is in excellent condition with no dings or dents and the carnelian seal is also in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The fob is not hallmarked but has been tested as 18 carat gold. It is decorated with a rhinoceros standing on a pedestal which is most unusual and very rare. It is also decorated with an applied floral border around the seal. The carnelian is engraved with seal (please refer to photos). It measures 20mm high x 18mm across and it weighs 5.8 grams.
