Victorian 1899 Sterling Silver Chatelaine Spectacle Holder Hallmarked Birmingham
Late Victorian sterling silver chatelaine spectacle holder, with a pierced belt loop panel of a tavern scene, a scrolled design to the front of the holder with a vacant cartouche, and a velvet lined interior. Made by Levi & Salaman, and assayed in Birmingham, 1899. [lion passant] ·925 Sterling Silver. Some unevenness to the belt loop. It measures 11 or 283mm long from top to bottom, with a holder measuring 161mm long by 36mm wide by 19mm thick, and a 60mm long belt loop.
