Magnificent Huge Solid Silver Victorian Ewer London 1863 1445gm. A most impressive Victorian silver ewer by James Charles Edington, standing an impressive 53cm in height and weighing a substantial 1445g, is lightly gilded and with the most decorative of designs, with raised oval reliefs bordering the body. Standing upon a pedestal foot with a sweeping arched handle and flared rim, this really is a most attractive item. Crisply hallmarked to the upper neck, the maker's mark is slightly worn but legible.

Offered in very good condition with the usual wear consistent with age. Height = 53 cm (20.9).
