Superb Victorian Ladies Albertina Gilded Pocket Watch Chain Tassel Fob Bracelet. A stunning Victorian ladies gilt metal albertina watch chain for your consideration. This quality piece of period jewellery would have been worn by a 19th century lady to safely house her pocket watch; today it can do the same or easily repurposes as a gorgeous bracelet with dangling tassel. The albertina chain is gilded in a rich warm yellow gold, is beautifully designed with swags, classic'T bar, dog clip and a fabulous tassel fob.

The dog clip and'T' bar have a makers stamp TH (with a symbol between the letters of 4 triangles pointing inwards to form a cross). Measurements: chain is 6.75 long not including dog clip,'T' bar or tassel... If worn as a bracelet. Full end to end measurement (tip of dog clip to end of tassel fob) is 10.25. Period albertinas are very collectable and this is one of the very nicest I have ever seen. The gilded finish is in truly wonderful condition for the great age, clearly a fine quality piece from the era.
