A superb late Victorian Scottishsolid silver toast rack. The toast rack has five bars allowing for four slices of toast. The central bar has a hoop for lifting and the rack sits on four ball feet. The hallmarks are stamped on a side bar and are in incredible easy to read condition.The rack looks as if it may not have been used. Assay - Three Towered Castle - Edinburgh.
Date Letter - s - 1899. Makers Mark - H&I - Hamiliton & Inches. 85mm length x 60mm width x 90mm height. The condition of the silver toast rack is excellent for its 124 years.The hallmarks can be easily read. Any marks are commensurate with age and use.
