Superb Victorian Silver Rococo Style Inkstand, John Harrison & Co, Sheffield, 1861. A rare and stylish inkstand that is 100 years earlier in style. It comes with its original fitted glass ink wells and the silver is in excellent condition. One of the glass inkwells has a large base chip and several small edge chips while the other bottle has several small facet edge chips - all of which could be remedied by a glass restorer. The finial of one of the covers is also slightly pushed in. Hallmarks to the covers are rubbed but possibly different to those on the body.
