Sterling Silver TOBACCO BOX Victorian 1899 Birmingham PRESS SIDED BOX Antique

  

A very tactile and pleasing Victorian sterling silver pebble shaped Tobacco box that would also make a great pill box. It is a high quality box and it has been wonderfully made from a thick gauge of silver.

It is opened by a slight squeeze to both ends, the mechanism is excellent order. It is fully hallmarked Sterling silver, 1899 Birmingham. The makers mark is of Thomas Hayes.

It is in an excellent condition being free from any repairs, damage or denting. The hinge is in good working order.

Some very minor surface wear. A well made usable and pleasing in the hand Victorian Silver box.
