Sterling Silver Epergne Centerpiece Robert Hennell III Victorian c1873. For your consideration is this. Sterling Silver Epergne Centerpiece by Robert Hennell III, Victorian c1873. The centerpiece bowl measures 5", it stands 10" tall and weighs 36.38 troy ounces solid sterling silver. Beautifully designed with 3 eagle heads below the bowl, floral scroll and bead throughout terminating in 3 spade shaped feet. All 3 pieces are well marked with Lion passant, Panther head for London assay, S date code for 1873 and RH for Robert Hennell III. A remarkable piece in e. Xcellent original condition with no dings, dents or repairs, there is no monogram. The centerpiece assembles in 3 pieces, the bowl screws into the center and the center is held to the base with 3 threaded hand turned nuts.
