Sterling Silver Diary Pencil Holder Chattelaine Antique Victorian 1888 Maker N&B. A late Victorian pierced silver holder with suspensory loop and with more loops to hold a Propelling Pencil. It would have also had a silver chain attached to it and a red leather bound De La Rue's finger shaped condensed Diary and Engagement Book to complete. The case is pierced with foliate scrolls and flower heads and it's fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1888 with victorias head within the hallmark. The maker is N&B for which I believe is Neustadt & Barnett (Samuel Isaac Neustadt & David Barnett).
The holder measures 8.5cm tall x 2.5 x 1.3cm and weighs 29.03 grams. It's in good condition and will be carefully packaged.
