This is a Wonderful Antique Silver Double Playing Card Box - with wonderful Victorian scrolling and hallmarked Chester 1899 by silversmiths George Nathan and Ridley Hayes. The box is embossed with foliage and inscribed on the top "Xmas 1899" not other markings on box. It is in very good used condition with minor dents due to the many years of use however, it does not detract from the item (please see photo's). It measures 3 1/4 inches tall 1 1/2 inches deep and 2 inches wide and weighs 83 grams. Wonderful Item that was well crafted!
