Victorian matched set of four open silver salt cellars of circular gadroon form on three ball feet with. Four matching salt spoons in the same style. Makers (JR) John Round & Son Ltd, Sheffield, 1895 (letter c). One of the bowls is dated'a' for 1893. Box is in good condition with some scuffing. Hinges and clasp are good. The retaining elastics for the spoons have lost their stretch so the spoons are no longer firm fitting. Very pretty and delicate set, the silver in good condition but would benefit from a polish. The hallmarks are clear though sometimes not properly impressed by the maker.
