This sale is for an Unusual Victorian Silver Presentation Aladdin's Lamp Table Cigar Lighter measuring approx 14 cm in length and stands approx. 9.5 cm in height with a silver weight of approx 145 grams.

The piece is shaped in the traditional Aladdin's Lamp shape but the unusual thing is the curved Handle has a Horses Head not the usual serpent head and to the body of the lamp is a presentation inscription'PRESENTED TO CORMELL PRICE. ESQ By The Staff Of The UNITED SERVICE COLLEGE July 25 Th 1894' and is Fully Hallmarked for London 1893 with the makers stamp for Mappin & Webb (John Newton Mappin).
