Scottish Victorian Solid Sterling Silver Kings Pattern Basting Spoon 1858

  

A superb large Scottish Victorian sterling silver basting spoon. It is hallmarked for Edinburgh 1858 with the makers marks being EM for Millidge & Son (Edwin Millidge). It has been designed to what is called the Kings Pattern design and engraved with a single letter. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs.

It does of course have light signs of use but no wear. It measures 11.5 inches (29cms) long by 2 inches (5.2cms) wide and weighs 96 grams. A more unusual early Victorian Scottish example. If you have any queries etc...
