Fine Victorian Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. London Cased Silver Salts & Spoons. One of the best and prettiest cased sets I've seen, these quality salt cellars with beaded scalloped rims have gilt washed interiors and sit on three ball supports. They come with their matching spoons with quatrefoil gilt washed bowls and all in the original velvet lined case baring the Royal Crest, the maker's name and Regent Street, London in gold lettering. All the pieces are hallmarked for 1896 with the maker's initials WG and JL for William Gibson and John Langman, the founders of the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company.
