This lot is for 1 item. A Magnificent sterling silver Flower posy holder, fully functional opening into a tripod including safety ring holder and flower securing pin, all in solid silver. Volumetric weight is over 1kg. 140 grams solid silver weight , there are no hall marks but we've had the item tested and its solid sterling silver.. This is an amazing and very intricate worked item. The detail is astounding and fragile Unfortunately this item has got some damage , Please bear in mind the rarity of such detailed and intricate work on this large piece that dates to the Victorian times circa 1885 - 1905 could even be earlier.. At least over 100 years old and most filigree in tact. The damage is mainly on the tips of the leaves at the top , miraculously the rest is ok on the main body the moving tassles are exceptionally detailed , however there are a couple missing, holder opens into a tripod after un screwing the base nut, it includes ring chain and securing pin on chain.
