The firm opened their doors in New York if the mid 1800s. Only later toward the end of the century did they offer a select silver line.

Names changed to Ovingtons around 1920. This rare, c1890 hand decorated Ovington Bros. Tea kettle on stand 10 inches.

Tall and the total weight a ouch over 24 standard ounces. Hallmarked to kettle base and the original burner. The interior clean and appears little / never used. Retains original hand carved decorated.
