On offer is this superb, late Victorian, solid sterling silver and crystal desk stand with dual inkwells. Double pen rests, central handle, pierced gallery walls to the inkwell holders, sits up on bun feet feet.

The square crystal inkwells are sterling silver mounted and lidded. All pieces of the silver are hallmarked (front of the base, on the handle, front of both pierced gallery walls, collars and lids of the inkwells).

P&D for Pembrook & Dickens, Birmingham, Sterling. Dimensions: 27.5cm x 19cm x 9cm.

Sterling silver weight of base only 605g; with the inkwells, raw unpackaged weight of 1.063kg. In good condition, would benefit from a closer polish in places, but the silver is in good condition and no chips or cracks to the inkwells. Outstanding, smart and collectable dest set!
