Large Victorian Sterling Silver Putti Repousse Picture Frame (603 grams Silver)

  
This Victorian era picture frame is very high quality. It is an unusually large size measuring at 13" x 11".

The entire piece, including the stand, tabs, and frame rings are all solid sterling silver. The front of the frame has been chased and repoussed with floral design and putti figures sitting atop. Each frame has a slab of burl wood and a piece of glass. Both of the pieces of glass have rough edges, but are not visible when in place. One of the tabs has unknown hallmarks, they look English, but could not be found in any source as known hallmarks.
