There is a heavy LEAF, SHELL and GADROONED BORDER and 2 CAST LEAF and SHELL HANDLES. There is a beautiful Edwardian family COAT OF ARMS with the Latin motto'ANIMUM REGE' (govern your mind). This fine tray is fully and clearly hallmarked for the famous Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd, London 1903.

WEIGHT : Approx 3,400 Grams or 109 troy ounces. LENGTH : 27.75 inches/70.5cm. WIDTH/DEPTH : 17.75 inches/45.5cm. CONDITION : THE ENGRAVING IS AS CRISP AND SHARP AS THE DAY IT WAS MADE. THE CHASED BORDERS AND HANDLES ARE MINT.

NO repairs, NO damage - A FINE EXAMPLE with normal light surface scratching. I have had a special interest in CHINESE EXPORT SILVER since the early 1990s and have owned many, many wonderful pieces.
