STERLING TEAPOT 1892 NO MONOGRAM This is an elegantly crafted 1892 Howard & Co. Sterling silver overhead handle teapot or kettle. Howard opened its New York City doors in 1866. By the time this was crafted, the firm had stores in London and Newport Rhode Island.

Several examples in the Museum of the City of New York and others. This 1892 Howard sterling silver tea kettle is 8 1/2 inches. Spout to edge and 28 standard ounces.
