The base of each candlestick measures approximately 4.25", by 4.25" square. These Gorham 8 Corinthian Column Candlesticks are in good antique condition with a few minor issues. One candlestick appears to have had the ornamental top replaced as can be seen in the photos. The both candlesticks have been opened on the bottom.
