Fine pair of English Victorian sterling silver OBLONG CHAMBERSTICKS. HUTTON 1897

  

A really lovely and fully complete pair of sterling silver chambersticks by William Hutton & Sons Ltd. Each chamberstick is oblong in shape with a shell & gadrooned border. There is a leaf capped handle and a removable conical extinguisher. The bobeches are also removable for easier cleaning.

Each chamberstick has a crisp Boar's crest. All 6 pieces (bodies, bobeches and extinguishers) have clear and matching hallmarks for William Hutton & Sons Ltd.

Length across : 5.75 inches/14.5cm. Height to the top of the bobeche (not the extinguisher which is taller): Approx 3 inches/7.5cm.

Weight : 547 grams/17.5 troy ounces for the pair. Condition is excellent, lovely unworn condition, needs a clean.
