The kettle with carved wood knop and handle, hallmarked with the Lion Passant, London Leopard Head, date letter'h' for 1903, and maker's mark'WM JS RD B' for Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd. And with number'511'; the stand with paw feet, hallmarked with the Lion Passant, London Leopard Head, date letter'T' for 1894, and maker's mark'WBJ' for Walter & John Barnard. The burner apparently unmarked, possibly not sterling, and accompanied by a ceramic and rope wick. It is possible all three pieces are associated.

Kettle: 769.2 grams gross weight. 8 in high (to top of handle).

High, diameter of interior 6 in. Burner (without wick): 69.4 grams height overall 11 in. In overall good antique condition with the expected surface scuffs, etc.

The kettle: crease bend to underside of one side of spout rim; shallow crease dent to lower part of body, approximately 1/2 inch in length. The stand: slight bowing to top and burner rims, nonetheless, sits level, though burner doesn't fit 100% flush. The burner: front of wick lid pushed in, shallow ding to body, impact evidence to top and foot rims, shelf wear to bottom.
