GORGEOUS ANTIQUE VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER TEA POT LONDON 1842. Dear collectors, Noblesse Collection is pleased to propose you this luxurious piece of silversmith's. Trade made in 1842 in London. Of a great quality as you can see! Multitude of details made with a big delicacy : Body is embossed with flowers, medallion and foliages on.

The grip of lid is particularly well made, it is in the shape of a bouquet of flowers. Tea pot dating more than 170 years old to start or complete a fine Victorian collection! This tea pot is stamped with the British Victorian sterling silver hallmarks. "Lion" for the sterling silver guarantee 925/1000, "leopard head" for the city of London. Duty mark, and "G"date letter year 1842.

This tea pot is stamped with the maker's mark : Edward, Edw. Jr, John & William Barnard. Registered in London from 1829.

Weight of the tea pot : 621 grams 19.96 troy oz. Height : 21,3 cm 8.38 inches. Capacity : 80 centiliters 27.05 Us Fluid Oz. In perfect condition : Fully checked and cleaned by our silversmith. No leak, no distortion, no dent. Lid and handle perfectly fixed. (An "antique statement" of Work of Art of more than 100 years old is joined to the invoice).
