CIGARETTE CASE STERLING SILVER & JAPANESE SHAGREEN VICTORIAN Birmingham 1888 Full hallmarks for Birmingham 1888 Colen Hewer Cheshire Dimensions: approx 100mm long (4 inches); 60mm wide; 18mm deep Weight: 93.5g Condition: Very good. Shagreen top and bottom in good antique condition with a little wear and small tears, splits and nibbles (see close up photos). Tiny dings, light tarnishing and surface scratches to the silver.

Sprung hinge snaps closed nicely. Interior leather lining in good antique condition. Wear commensurate with age and use. Silver gilt cartouche with the name Betty engraved.
