For sale is this lovely quality restored cast iron fireplace insert. It can be made to burn solid fuel or gas and has been stripped, cleaned, heatproof treated and fully polished to bring out its original character.

This is a lovely condition fireplace insert in a Victorian arched style, distinguishable by its use of decorative ironwork around a detail-lined arch. The beautiful detail and quality can be seen in the pictures both inside and outside of the fire, which is made by quality fire maker Agnews.

Ours is as good as new after a full restoration. We will supply for free the functioning gas fire that came with this item for restoration.

However, please note that we are not certified gas suppliers and the gas fire would not come with any guarantee. Alternatively, we can supply the solid fuel grate option (shown in the pics), instead of the gas fire. The grate is brand new and unused.

Complete with fully functioning damper, ornate fret bars and ash pan cover. This fireplace is ready to install and will add warmth and character to your home. Fits neatly over an existing fireplace opening and will fit into most standard mantle surrounds or stand proud as it is.
