Beautiful antique marked Bailey Banks & Biddle Co. Hexagon sterling silver tea ball infuser / strainer.

RARE piece by Very Important Philadelphia, Pennsylvania silversmith company and jewelry retailer. Marked on inside rim of the lid Bailey Banks & Biddle Co. , B 750, Company logo and sterling. The holding ring marked inside "sterling". Dimensions of the ball: approximately 2-3/8 inches long x 1-3/4 inches wide (6.0 cm x 4.4 cm). The chain with the holding ring is 4-7/8 inches (12.2 cm) long. Total weight is 27.7 grams. Condition: Excellent for the age with minor wear : small scratches and dents.
