Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Vesta Case 1899 The Music Lesson

  
This is a super antique Victorian sterling silver vesta case measuring 1 3/4" (4.5 cms) x 1 1/2" (4 cms) and. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1899 with the silversmiths mark for Henry Matthews. The lid is embossed with a depiction of The Music Lesson by Nicolas Lancret depicting a gentleman playing a lute to two ladies in a formal garden scene.

It's in excellent condition with no damage (any marks you can see are just reflections) and it weighs 27.5 grams. Please note that all my items are antiques and will show some signs of use and age. PLEASE NOTE THAT I POST EVERY DAY MONDAY - FRIDAY.
