A wonderful antique Victorian sterling silver soup tureen hallmarked in London for 1843 by John Charles Edington. This soup tureen has a mainly plain oval shaped body, a removable lid with an attractive top handle, two elegant side handles and resting on four stylish feet. The leaf decoration above the feet is particularly appealing and the gadroon detailing around the body and lid completes the overall design.
