Antique Victorian Sterling Silver & Mother Of Pearl Canteen Cutlery 1861

  
This is a beautiful antique Victorian canteen of cutlery for 12 comprising of 12 desert forks and 12 desert knives. Each item is hallmarked for Sheffield 1860 or 1861 with the silversmiths mark for Martin Hall & Co. The forks measure 6 1/2" (16.5 cms) and the knives are 8" (20 cms) long and they are all in excellent condition with beautiful mother of pearl handles. They come in their original oak presentation box which has a brass plaque on the top with no engravings and comes complete with key. Fabulous set, very unusual to find a set like this with no wear and no damage.
