Early Victorian Sterling silver snuff box, having rectangular body with engine turned decoration, gold gilt interior and a vacant cartouche. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1838, the maker mark is for William Simpson. In very good conditions with minor signs of wear. The gilt is in excellent condition, the lid doesn't close very tight.
