Antique Victorian solid silver ornate albertina watch chain with tassel 14.71g

  

This is a beautiful antique Victorian solid silver albertina watch chain. This rare vintage find measures approx. 35cm long from the tip of the bulldog clip to the end of the tassel. Please note this is an unmarked piece that tests as silver and weighs 14.71g. Approximately half of the albertina is made up of a chunky twisted rope style chain.

There is a bulldog clip at the end of the chain and four ornate engraved round puff beads set along the chain. There is also a repousse cross pendant that dangles from the chain which measures 2.2cm long and 1.4cm wide. The other half of chain features three lengths of twisted rope chain held by a repousse engraved scroll and square shape either side. There is a small length of chain at the end of the albertina that holds the tassel. The five strand tassel also has an ornate engraved tip.
