Antique Victorian 1891 hallmarked sterling silver desk thermometer
Antique Victorian 1891 english hallmarked sterling silver desk thermometer. This item measures approximately 12cms in length (at the base) by 21cms in height. Gorgeous, fully English London hallmarked Sterling Silver thermometer, set on a velvet backing. Beautiful details to the silver. Wear and tear with age, velvet faded, slight crack to thermometer backing and a screw missing to back, which has been remedied by the silver being glued to the velvet but due to the rarity, age of the piece and it's quality this is easily forgotten.
