Antique Victorian Joseph Rodgers Sterling Silver & Silver Plated Canteen Cutlery for Twelve Persons - 24 Pieces in Total. This stunning cutlery set has unusual shaped handles; they are square and angled, and in an ivory colour, which is possibly Celluloid. All pieces have Sterling Silver Collars as well as Sterling Silver Tops, with Silver Plated Knife Blades & Fork Tines.

The Sterling Silver Tops are hallmarked for Joseph Rodgers, Sheffield 1890, and the Sterling Silver Collars are hallmarked for William Yates, Sheffield 1891 & 1892. The silver plated knife blades and fork tines are stamped Joseph Rodgers. The set is presented in a wooden canteen, with a deep purple velvet interior. The Set Consists of the Following. In antique condition, with some age-related wear and discolouring to the handles.

There is very little plate loss, and a couple of the pieces have chips in the handles near the tips, but this is not overly noticeable. Please see all pictures for more details.
