ANTIQUE - Sterling Silver - Engraved HIP FLASK - Riley & Storer - 1839. A rare and early antique sterling silver hip flask, with screw top fitting.

Made by the partnership of Charles Riley and George Storer, this premium quality flask is of investment quality. This early piece is hand engraved in a fine rococo style, and unusually, the engraving carries to the top, the sides and the base. The mushroom shaped cap unscrews, with the top of the cap having further embellishment.

The front panel has a period personalisation, which could be erased if desired - the engraving is not deep. Please see above for quantity available.

925 sterling silver, dated 1839. Makers mark as per image above, partially obscured. Size: Measures 4 1/2" (11 cm) tall, 2 5/8" (6 cm) wide. Condition: Item is in used, it's been cleaned and polished, lightly, so has a nice soft silver patina. We specialise in quality named silver, flatware and crystal.
