ANTIQUE - Solid Sterling Silver - HIP FLASK - Robert Harper - Chester 1899. A nice example of a highly ornate, Victorian antique sterling silver engraved hip flask. This premium quality, small-sized piece features a oval body, with side hinge, bayonet fitting cap.
The flask is concave and fits nicely within the hand. The foliate and scroll engraved decoration is featured to the front and reverse and is in fine condition. The sides also show evidence of further engraving, however this is somewhat rubbed. There is a monogram to the front, which could be erased or covered if required.
