Antique Pair of Victorian Sterling Silver Taper Candlesticks, London 1894

  
A pair of antique Victorian sterling silver taper candlesticks with removable sconces, all parts fully hallmarked for London 1894 with sponsors mark of Martin Hall & Co Ltd. Condition: Good condition, but there is some wear to the high points of the decoration from polishing that has gone through to the filling. The bases could do with recovering. One sconce has a couple of pin prick holes on the edge where the taper stick is inserted, but not particularly noticeable and mentioned for accuracy. They are very functional and decorative. Measurements: 115mm in height, base diameter 65mm x 65mm. Sconce opening diameter 10mm (they take taper style candlesticks pictured that can be bought anywhere).
