Antique English Victorian Solid Silver Snuff Box, (Thomas Johnson I, 1880). A very fine quality antique English Victorian solid sterling silver snuff box. Rectangular shaped & rounded edges snuff box with bright cut hand chased acanthus pattern decoration all around outside & a vacant oval cartouche on either side.

Push button catch on the edge which releases the nice fitting hinged lid. Finished with a gilt washed interior & fully hallmarked on the inside of the lid & fully hallmarked on the edge of the rim. 57mm x 43mm x 15mm. Excellent condition with light surface marks that are consistent with genuine age, use & polishing.
