Antique English Victorian Solid Silver Card Case, (Alfred Taylor, 1854). A very fine quality antique English Victorian solid sterling silver calling card case. Rectangular shaped case with a nicely shaped surround & rounded edges & corners. Beautifully highly decorated with bright cut hand chased foliate decoration in a Rocco style on the front & back. Vacant cartouche on the top of the front.

Nice fitting hinge lid on the top & fully hallmarked inside rim of the case. A nice fine example, l ovely collectors item. 100mm x 70mm x 8mm. Excellent condition with light surface marks that are consistent with genuine age, use & polishing.
