An antique English, solid sterling silver combined whistle & vesta case / match safe; beautifully made, with engine turned decoration throughout, a cartouche with the monogram'AMW' (or similar combination) and an incredibly loud whistle! A wonderfully unusual antique pendant - perfect for any wear on any chain or as part of a collection! CONDITION : All original and generally good. Some wear and denting commensurate with age & use.

Mouth piece dented/distorted but whistle perfectly audible. DATE/MARKS : English hallmark for London 1889.
