Antique Early Victorian Sterling Silver Christening Cutlery Set, Sheffield 1850
A cased antique early Victorian three piece sterling silver christening set with engraved and ornate decoration fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1850 with sponsor's mark of Aaron Hadfield. All three items have matching hallmarks along with separate matching marks on the handles of the knife and fork. This is one of the highest quality christening sets I have had and is in near perfect condition and would make an ideal gift. Condition: Excellent with only minor surface scratches to the case.
Free of any initials or personalised engravings. Measurements: The case measures 240mm x 100mm x 35mm. The knife 195mm in length, the fork 160mm and the spoon 160mm.
