TWIST Antique 8 piece Towel Pattern no. Sterling Silver - Gold Gilded. Incredible serving set in sterling silver. This 8 piece dessert/ice cream is made by Towle Silversmiths circa 1875. 6 spoons/shovels, 5 5/8', 15+ grams each, 93 grams all 6. 1 large ice cream knife, flat scoop server, 9 1/2, 70 grans.

1 large berry spoon, 7 3/4, 45 grams. TOTAL SILVER WEIGHT 210 grams / 6.75 oz troy. All 8 pieces are marked with the Towle Hallmark + 127 + Sterling.

Each individual piece was hand forged by a master craftsman. First twisting the handle one way, and then the other way. To create an alternating twist pattern.

Every piece sports a gold gilt bowel. The gold wash very strong, & in near perfect condition. I feel this set was either never or rarely used. Please see my other listings...
